| A spot just 5yds from the bank produced this personal-best 44lb 14oz common from Twynersh Fishery?s Specimen Lake for David Emson. When he arrived at the Surrey day-ticket venue, the 39-year-old spotted a carp feeding in the margins, so quickly flicked an 18mm bottom bait out to the area. Fifteen minutes passed without any action, so Dave crumbled up a few freebies and threw them over the spot.
